When brushing/combing your extensions, start at the ends and work your
way up. Always brush/comb in a downward motion.
Try to avoid using alcohol-based products as much as possible (mousse and hair spray). These types of products will dry out your weave.
Excess heat can damage your extensions. Try to limit the use of heated appliances.
You may find it helpful to wrap your weave at night and sleep with a satin or silk scarf. This will reduce the amount of heat you will have to use on the hair.
Try to avoid using alcohol-based products as much as possible (mousse and
hair spray). These types of products will dry out your weave if used too often.
I recommend only using a quality polisher or gloss as needed.
For long wavy hair, try braiding the hair at night to prevent tangling.
Most tightly curled styles should never be combed nor brushed. I find it best to figure comb it instead.
Always sleep with satin bonnet. This will help prevent the hair from become frizzy and/or matted.
Use quality moisturizing shampoos and conditioners on your hair
extensions.

Distribute shampoo and conditioner evenly throughout the hair. While working the product through the hair, wash the hair in one direction. Avoid scrubbing, rubbing, or bunching the hair together. This could cause the hair to tangle.
Be sure to rinse all of the shampoo and conditioner from under the tracks.
I think it is best to have your stylist remove your sew-in weave. However,
if you insist on doing the removal on your own, you may find it helpful to use either manicure scissors or a seam ripper.
Detangle your hair BEFORE shampooing. This will help prevent your hair from becoming tangled and matted.
Treat your hair to a deep condition.
